Product Earth 2024 Cancelled Following Move to Drumsheds Venue

After nearly a decade of celebrating the cannabis industry, this year the second day of Product Earth has been cancelled. The event, which had been rescheduled to take place at Drumsheds, Tottenham, has unexpectedly come to a halt, leaving both vendors and customers disappointed.

Product Earth began in 2015 as the first and largest & also legal cannabis expo in the UK, the event is dedicated to advancing discussions around hemp, CBD and many other aspects within the cannabis culture. The event combined educational elements, such as talks on sustainability and medicinal cannabis, with a vibrant marketplace and creative music scene. Product Earth quickly grew into an annual hub for activists, enthusiast and industry professionals, offering a unique opportunity - like no other, to experience the emerging cannabis industry in the UK.

Throughout the years Product Earth has been held at various locations with the main one being NAEC in Stoneleigh, where the event grew and developed its strong reputation within the community. However, in 2024 Product Earth announced their move to Drumsheds in Tottenham which is known by many as a venue that host a variety of music and cultural gatherings. The change in location was expected to bring new energy to the event and provide an accessible site for London based attendees.

Unfortunately, after just the first day of Product Earth this year, the festival was abruptly cancelled with very little of an explanation. This has left exhibitors, fans and sponsors deeply disappointed. With people travelling from all over the world to attend, it does not come as a surprise that people are upset by the news. The event has played an integral role in shaping the conversation around the cannabis and hemp sectors, and offering educational information from cultivation to the environmental benefits of hemp products. This setback comes at a critical time for the cannabis industry in the UK, where public opinion has increasingly warmed to the idea of cannabis reform, especially as more countries worldwide embrace legalisation.

The cancellation of Product Earth in 2024 serves as a reminder of the ongoing regulatory and logistical challenges facing the cannabis industry in the UK, but also of the community's resilience. Though the event maybe on hold for now, the conversation it has sparked about cannabis culture, sustainability, and the hemp and CBD industry will likely continue to grow.

We will continue to update this article as more news comes in and we will be interviewing some attendees of the event this year who are happy to share their first hand experience of the expo this year.
